Merry christmas

This is m last blog for this year. Merry christmas and happy new year, and I am looking forward to getting giggles for Christmas. This year has been really fun, I've really enjoyed cooking, our very X factor , the discos at Wilrose our soccer and cricket matches with Wilrose and Te Puke.  Can't wait to see what I'll be doing next year, look out for my blogs, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Christmas party

Had an awesome night last night at the Trinity Wharf and our end of year Christmas party.  I won best dressed family, did lots of dancing, and even had a fireworks show at the end of the night.

Van washing

We have finished doing comet for the year, so helped out with van washing.  It was a nice change.

Pilot bay

A group of us went to pilot bay this morning we saw a big cruise ship, had morning tea, and made a sand sculpture of a cruise ship the Arohanui - the big love boat.  It was lots of fun.

Raffle draw

We drew the the christmas raffle today.  I got to pull out the winning ticket

A Christmas carol

Lasts Wednesday we had our final drama production for the year.  We did a Christmas carol by Charles Dickens.  I loved being on stage and singing all the Christmas carols

We have a new gallery to display our pottery and art, and pottery workroom iit's looking very cool

Cooking

We made pizza in cooking, it was yummy

Reading And Writing

In reading and writing, I have been learning how to recall things in sequence.  I can also match up written numbers with the correct group of objects.  I have also matched up action words with the correct pictures. 

Superhero disco

Friday 15th November was superhero disco at Wilrose.  It was lots of fun, I danced lots and dressed up as spider woman! Can't wait for the next disco

Arohanui X factor

Yesterday we had our X factor finals.  I was singing Eye of the Tiger with the group called The Tigers. I really enjoyed bei in X Factor and would like to do it again

Interview with a black cap

Today I got the awesome opertunity to sit in on an interview with Kane Williamson a New Zealand black cap it was so exciting. 

Sports outing

After all our training for soccer and cricket we decided to have an easier outing and enjoyed a walk across the swing bridge at Greerton Marist rugby grounds.

Working hard

I finished my IPP board today and hung it on the wall, I love it! This year I am an active all rounder doing lots of pottery, library, and sports.  I thought a huge book would be a fun way to show everyone what I'm up to.

We all got our hair done in girls group, we look soooo pretty

Michelle's baby shower

On Friday we had a baby shower for Michelle. It's was lots of fun, and lots of pink because she's having a girl 

Exciting new toys

I was having lots of fun in sensory last week with some new toys they look amazing just like bubbles!

Cricket match

Today our sports outing group had a cricket match against Te Puke.  It was lots of fun, I scored a few runs even.  Final score 14-9 to Greerton

Had so much fun doing micheal Jackson just dance and glow in the dark hula hoops and poi

Cooking

We made pasta salad in cooking this week. My job was to mix it all together.  It was yummy mmmmmm

Police dog visit

Today Paul from the police force came and visited us with his dog Ty.  I Got to sit next to Ty and pat him,,he sniffed me. he was a big dog

After putting on a cooked lunch for Greerton wee raised enough money to go out for coffee at Zaggers cafe

80s disco

Last week we had an 80s disco at Wilrose it was lots of fun

We had a score match Greerton vs Wilrose  won 3-2 go Greerton!

We had a dance party in the sensory room for dance and movement it was cool, we spun glowing poi

Fire trucks

Last Tuesday I joined in with guys group and got to see the fire truck and try on some the clothes was pretty cool 

Fruit kebabs

We made some fruit kebabs in cooking, they were yummy. I took them home and ate them I loved them

Using new apps on iPad

Today I used the colour free app for photos in the iPad. I thought it was pretty cool

the Steamers at Bayfair

For our Friday outing we went to Bayfair. We went to K Mart to look at some sports equipment. While we were there we saw the Steamers Rugby players. They were giving some kids some tips.

Music at Wilrose

I love music at Wilrose we are practising singing, dancing and play sing star, dj hero, and dancing

Drama

Wednesday 10th July we had our drama production Oliver Twist I was Mrs Smith it was fun

Pottery

In pottery we made a coil pot.It was good teamwork....Damon and I worked together,I rolled the clay into coils and Damon built it up tall.We're looking forward to taking it to Bethlehem and then painting it!

Orienteering

In our sports outing we are doing orienteering map reading. We followed the map all over memorial park

Tai chi

Every second Tuesday we do tai chi with annie I really enjoy it

Historic Sites

We visited the Historic Trust for our Friday outing and learnt about a Pa site in Tauranga that is being restored, which we can go and visit!

NZ Music Disco

Today in dance and movement we had a disco in the sensory room listening to only NZ music.  We listened to Kimbra, Ruby Frost, and lots of different NZ artists

BOP Polytechnic Cultural Art Exhibition

We went to Void Gallery to have a look at the Bay Polytechnic cultural art exhibition. I loved seeing all the clothes and meeting Hayley the designer of this collection

Driving a scooter!

I got to meet Stuart and have a sit and "drive" of his 1966 Lambretta scooter. It was fun and cool

Ten Pin

We started back at Ten Pin today. I had a great game and even got a strike!

We have been putting together a map of Memorial Park and going to be orienteering, map reading

I love cooking on Monday mornings, we've been cooking healthy but yummy options

Breast cancer morning tea

Yesterday we went to Wilrose for a special morning tea, breast cancer awareness week. We all had to try and wear something pink. We all had a really nice time.

Hunting for Eels!!!!

Today for our outing we went Eel hunting at a creek behind the Historic Village. There was a beautiful bush walk where the creeks were. We didn't see any Eels but enjoyed the walk in the nice weather.

A visit from tommy Kapai

This afternoon Tommy Kapai came in and visited us, we had some stories read to us and I got a signed copy of The adventures of the up tribe
