I have had an amazing time this month, filled with lots of fun, laughter, and learning. I have really been enjoying my community inclusion activities. This month, we even caught the bus, which was so exciting because it was something I had been looking forward to for ages. We went down to the Tauranga Crossings mall.
I loved going to the Historic Village to do volunteer work. The other day, we swept the rocks around the artwork. We have also been on lots of walks to parks, including McLaren Falls.
I’m very excited about the ball. We have been practising the box step dance and making masks to wear on the grand day.
I also loved making sock puppets and playing with them — it was so much fun. In Girls’ Group this month, we had a wacky day, which was amazing. My hair looked fantastic, and I loved seeing my friends’ hairstyles too.
For arts, I have been working on mosaics and really enjoyed creating my jandals wall piece using all the tiles.
The other day, I had a fluffy with my friends, topped with sprinkles, and we also had high tea in Girls’ Group. It was nice to enjoy a chat and spend time together sharing stories.
For drama, I’m playing one of the ugly stepsisters, and my laugh is perfect for the role! I’m looking forward to next month!
