What an amazing month it has been! I’ve been keeping busy with lots of wonderful activities that have kept both my body and heart warm.
This month has been full of great moments out and about in the community. One of my highlights was an awesome day at Bethlehem Baptist Church, where I learned about emergency preparedness. I was even given an emergency go-bag as a gift so I can be prepared in case of an emergency.
I also spent time volunteering at Historic Village, helping with clean-up projects, including cleaning the footpaths. I have also been busy at the op shop, which I continue to enjoy. Recently, I helped move the books to a different area, which was a satisfying project to be part of.
One of my outings took me to the new fairy garden, which is absolutely adorable. I also enjoyed exploring the park and admiring the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the gardens. Another highlight was going ten-pin bowling, where I had so much fun.
In drama, I loved getting up on stage and dancing in front of all my friends. It was such a fun experience and a wonderful opportunity to share my love of performing. In dance, by the way, I have really enjoyed learning and performing the “Clap Snap” song.
During computer sessions, I have been practising sending emails and playing educational games. I have also been working on my mosaic project and making masks for the ball, which was a creative and enjoyable experience.
The ball was a wonderful event, and I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. From preparing and helping organise the celebration to choosing my outfit and hairstyle, it was all very exciting. On the big day, I had so much fun dancing, listening to the great music played by the DJ, and enjoying delicious mocktails.
